!~[Ironclad]~! (RM)

"Awesome."

date: October 9, 2009

I love the fast pace, which is what in my opinion every good DnB song needs. It would be good for a battle scene or fight in a game :D I gotta check out more of your work. 10/10 5/5 Downloaded.

{B.A.B.} Shadow of Malevolence

"Completely epic."

date: September 1, 2009

If i ever made and actual video game or movie i would want this song to play for the final boss. This sounds like it could actually BE in a movie or game. The Organ in the background is just so shadowy and dark. The entire song just fits the name perfectly. I've already downloaded and favorited this. I totally love it. This site needs more songs like this.

Author's Response:

Wow, I'm glad you love it man. About the organ, as I said in another response, the idea came from Yoko Shimomura and Michiru Yamane.

Honestly, this song was a miracle of a composition. It's so different in tonal quality and style from the rest of my songs, and yet sounds much better than my other ones. It's easily the best song I've ever made. I guess I'm trying to say that I love this song as much as you do hahaha

And if you're looking for more songs like this, just surf around the classical section. There's plenty of amazing artists here.

This was one of the theme songs in the "epic battle fantasy" game that really stuck out to me. It was perfect for the place of a giant graveyard of bones guarded by the twin bone dragons. I love the 'vocals' in there too. Its kind of creepy in a way but also to the point where it makes you geared and ready for whats about to happen. Very full of suspense and feeling. I love it. 5/5 9/10 and downloaded. Great work.

But on a side note i didnt know you made this while playing the game :P i thought it was from an actual movie or a video game.

For your first its really good. however a few tips would be for a scarier feeling you should make it..
1) slower, the reason behind this is because it shows and creates the feeling that there is little movement/life in the area which is always a good thing to have.
2) a slight echo. This also creates the feeling of a large EMPTY enviroment.
when the two are put together it mixes perfectly making things even better. Mostly on the piano parts. During the strings and such its perfect. keep up the good work!

Zelda TP: City in the Sky 2

"You need to practice"

date: July 30, 2009

It is far too jagged and rough. The 'song' itself is literally unrecognizable. It needs intense work before this can even be called music. I know FL.Studio and things like that are hard to use but this is in my opinion, WORK before it can be called a song itself. Its far too bland, and as the people say, its BAD

Personally im dead tired of hearing this every time i check the audio portal. Its a decent prank call. And i'll admit its pretty funny too! Personally i wouldnt really know what to think if i got called by this. But honestly it was the PITCH CHANGING that really kills this. To me its incredibly annoying and im sure im not the only one who thinks that, not only by common sense but by my fellow reviewers below. Personally if it were not for that i would be praising you with 8's or 9's maybe even a 10. but what ticks me off, is that this is the #1 song? there are people who spend MONTHES on their work and this took nearly moments? This does not deserve the praise that it has, and by what i've already stated it; should not be anywhere to where it is.

"Its Pretty good"

date: July 28, 2009

CONS-it REALLY needs the vocals. The original left a large unforgettable beat and memorable lyrics. The same cant really be done better with just a guitar. Another problem is that piano could be more emphasized in the later parts.

PROS- though its not the same it is still very good. The piano is still great near the beginning. And im my opinion could have used a little more of it. Keep in mind the original was done. I give it its score because with its problems it still makes up for it with a great song to go along with it.

Libera Me [proper Dnb] Yix

"its okay."

date: July 28, 2009

Though it really doesnt deliver the true impact that the original did. the piano needs to stand out more, perhaps with an echo to intensify it. The electronic instruments almost seemed to be random and really unneccesary. i love the original but im sorry to say that i dont love this.

[dj-Jo] Contingency of Music

"great. a perfect sampler."

date: July 21, 2009

Each one is great and individual showing what each genre is, and what they can be. It would be interesting to show this to someone who has never heard these genres before and what their reactions would be. Perhaps in the future you could make each of these into a seperate song?

But above all it shows that your capabilities stretch to all of these genres and you have the potential to master all of them. Dj-jo, you are a very talented artist. 10/10 5/5
