[The Legend of David 5]

Where does this seem familiar.

Where to start..

Overall, your idea with this whole project seems lost, wayward, and often as if it does not know what it wants to be. It collects ideas, scenes, and bits and pieces of similarities and mashes them together lazily. For example, your anatomy with your characters seems almost traced off of the bodies from Dragon ball Z. I would almost have forgiven this, if you put as much detail on the things you DIDNT copy from, such as faces, monsters, ect... The music, sound effects, and so forth didnt help considering they were also practically cut and pasted from movies and soundtracks. Again, this normally doesn't bother me, but the fact that everywhere you seem to look here is plagued by unoriginality really made it hard for me to enjoy this.

Though through the entire flash i couldn't take it seriously. I at first found it very difficult to decide whether this was to be taken seriously or not. I kept expecting some funny joke to lighten the dull "Tension" but it never really came. The voice acting completely ruined what atmosphere you had created through unneeded violence and dialogue. The very obvious echo effects, pitch changes that were used as an excuse for audio effects would have been cool, had this been ten years ago when they were new. Now, with what we have, its clumsy, embarrassing, and almost pointless. The writing seemed.. Non existent.

I could go on but im sure that someone somewhere will disagree and claim this to be an abusive review for whatever reason. I know you put effort into this, and im not trying to bash you down but its honestly how i feel. You spent time and put your own style of animation even if it incorporated familiar themes.
I'll basically give you a 3/10.
- Good animation, but its clear you did some tricks to cut corners to save yourself time.
- Sound quality was lacking and voice acting honestly hurt my ears at times.
- Story was uneventful, forgettable, and overall cliche. The fact that all that really happened in the entire episode was that he got up, killed some stuff, and encountered Gannon really makes me afraid to imagine how long you plan to draw this out.

In the end, i really dont feel this deserves to be put on front page above work that could easily surpass this. Peace.

a clone of gurren lagann and Dragon ball Z

I enjoyed the it a little but not enough to give it praise.. why? well because:
1)the voice acting needs work. It sounds like you/whoever was just whispering into the mic at times when the characters are supposed to be yelling. it was pretty obvious nearly all of the characters are the same person's voice just in a deeper/higher pitch too..

2)The entire tournament concept was essentially copied from dragon ball Z. Two people fighting, crashing into walls, old man spectating.. ect.. as well as several of the sound effects.
3)The characters were very poorly developed.. They seemed dry, lifeless, and unrelatable.
4) The last whole 2 minutes were AGAIN copied from an anime, this time Gurren lagaan.. In Gurren Lagann in the first episode a giant robot mech breaks through the ceiling in a small town and nearly destroys everything soon to be saved by a mysterious girl (yoko).. Which is nearly identical to this.. To make it worse your character "Sherbert" and "pokes" both have characteristics as the character "Simon" from Gurren lagann (blue hair, goggles, collar shirt..) But as soon as i heard the "Fire from the heavens" line that honestly blew my mind..

Im not going to lie, this is honestly just a pile of compiled concepts and ideas smashed together with shotty animation and voice acting... I'm sorry but after watching this twice im not sure if this was intended to be a joke or not...

I find this actually very ironic because im a very dedicated artist and i have a girlfriend who is just like annie. The name of the flash itself is a very interesting choice and I personally like it a lot. The animation is original and unique and the lack of actual speech is very interesting. I found myself both laughing and smiling while watching this the entire way through. Cant wait for p2 5/5 10/10

I liek it

I enjoyed it! As far as a tutorial goes this is really helpful. I have trouble getting the body and facial features of women when I draw and this helped me out a lot. Just wanted to say that i love this song also. ^^

[Spoof of the Colossus]

It was half-way decent

The animation was brilliant and the detailed backgrounds and locations were a sight to see. However animation, graphics and so-forth are not all in a flash. the jokes were okay but never laugh out loud or bust a gut, which then causes the viewer to lose attention. Mostly a chuckle or two but really nothing more. I understand you put time and effort into this and i recognize that however along with the animation you may want to concider writing a more thought out script to go along with it. after that you'll have gold material. no.

i get that its a joke. but its not a funny one. Its okay. the animation was decent. the humor was very low. the only part I really liked were the reactions of more stereotypical countries. This movie is no where NEAR being on front page. The concept isnt really worth going out with. Try again next time.

When i first saw this on the front page i expected to see trash.

Far from it. The animation is great, and i love how you added in the health bars as they fought their way through. Awesome music, Cool concept, Not much to complain about from me. Great job!

Its quirky and all around cool. Good animation and good sound. Strange idea but i find it really funny :D

this movie was NOT worth front page. The sound was COMPLTETELY 100% out of sync!!! If you EVER make a music video at least TRY to make it go with the music! I get that its supposed to be pixel animation but it was still trash and apparently some of the artists didnt completely understand that! At least when you have the artist make something TRY to have it lead somewhere? Random suicides and people hopping around roof tops THAT DONT GO WITH THE MUSIC do not make a good music video!!!
